"El Paso de Robles is the original name for the area where these grapes are grown. 'The pass of the Oaks' is still dotted with thousands of oaks on the hillsides and in amongst the vines. Aromas of bright black fruits with hints of black licorice. Black fruits are up front on the palate with toasted marshmallow. Soft tannins add to the finish. Pair with beef short ribs, burgers and portabello mushrooms." Winemaker's Notes
