"A marriage between George Dickel and McIlhenny Tabasco-two brands that are uniquely American and rooted in the South. Tabasco peppers are mashed and aged for up to 3 years in oak barrels sourced from the whisky industry. Dickel 8 is aged for 30 days in ex-Tabasco barrels that still contain some residual pepper paste, allowing spice and flavor imparted on the wood to finish the whisky. Finally Tabasco brand Pepper Sauce is distilled and blended together with all natural sweetener to create George Dickel Tabasco Barrel Finish."
